While partial shading caused by roof mounted accessories such as antennas, air conditioners and roof vents can drastically reduce the overall output on standard solar panels, Sphere's innovative Twin Cell design allows a single panel to operate as if it were two independent smaller panels.
This unique parallel design means even if one side of the panel is shaded, the other side can still perform at full capacity, whereas in a traditional solar panel this would cause a severe bottleneck.
